First PostgreSQL Code Sprint Summary

The first code sprint was a huge success! We had a lot of people from from Catalyst IT show up to the level 3 training room and together we looked at the issues from the PostgreSQL Code Sprint and started to create a better knowledge base around Drupal. I didn't realise how much information I had in my head surrounding PostgreSQL issues untill I started explaining the history and problems faced surrounding the issues we looked at.

The best part is that these code sprints are expanding the knowledge around the PostgreSQL code logic in Drupal. More developers means more support. I look forward to future sprints to build support for PostgreSQL in Drupal.

As an avid user of PostgreSQL

As an avid user of PostgreSQL I wanted to say thanks for the time and effort you have put in with this PostgreSQL sprint. I know that there are those who would rather drop PostgreSQL support than work towards support on the level of MySQL but it's my hope that Drupal will move towards supporting more databases, not less.
